    Israeli army says metropolis in northern Gaza is now a ‘fight zone’, suspends every day pauses in preventing there that allowed supply of humanitarian help.

    The Israeli army says it has begun the “preliminary levels” of its offensive on Gaza Metropolis, because it declared the most important city centre within the besieged territory a “fight zone” and introduced the suspension of every day pauses in preventing there that allowed the entry of humanitarian help.

    “We aren’t ready. Now we have begun preliminary operations and the preliminary levels of the assault on Gaza Metropolis,” Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee wrote in a put up on X on Friday.

    “We’re at present working with nice pressure on the outskirts of the town,” he stated.

    The announcement got here because the Israeli army confirmed it suspended so-called “tactical pauses” in its assaults on the town in northern Gaza that had beforehand allowed restricted humanitarian operations there.
