    Faculty Republicans manning a voter data desk early Tuesday morning on the College of Wisconsin-Eau Claire had been surprised by the conduct of an unhinged professor who violently flipped their desk over after inaccurately complaining they had been too near the campus polling website for the statewide election on a Supreme Courtroom seat and voter ID referendum.

    UWEC Chair Tatiana Bobrowicz posted a video saying the attacker was IDed by the college because the chair of the English division:

    Bobrowicz gave a extra detailed account of the attack to WQOW-TV (excerpt):

    UW-Eau Claire Interim Provost Michael Carney issued an announcement to the media in regards to the incident (via WEAU-TV):

    I’m deeply involved that our college students’ peaceable effort to share data on campus on election day was disrupted. UW-Eau Claire strongly helps each individual’s proper to free speech and free expression, and the college stays dedicated to making sure that campus is a spot the place all kinds of opinions and beliefs may be shared and celebrated. Civil dialogue is a crucial a part of the college expertise, and peaceable engagement is key to studying itself. We’re working with the Universities of Wisconsin and the Workplace of Common Counsel, which is conducting a complete investigation of this matter.
