    UK’s Turing AI Institute bosses respond to staff anger

    The heads of the UK’s nationwide institute for synthetic intelligence (AI) have acknowledged latest months have been “difficult” for employees because the charity undergoes “substantial” change.

    It comes after staff raised “serious and escalating concerns” in a whistleblowing grievance this week submitted to the Charity Fee.

    They warned that the physique – which receives £100m from the federal government – is liable to collapse after Know-how Secretary Peter Kyle instructed it to prioritise defence, and threatened to tug its funding if it didn’t.
