LONDON: UK police probing Britain’s former ambassador to the USA Peter Mandelson searched two properties on Friday (Feb 6), authorities mentioned, following fresh revelations in the Epstein files.
The searches got here as Prime Minister Keir Starmer faces intense scrutiny over his determination to nominate Mandelson because the nation’s envoy to the USA regardless of his affiliation with convicted US intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Earlier this week, London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed it was investigating Mandelson, 72, over allegations of misconduct in a public workplace.
