    **Schumer Shutdown Day 8**

    The Senate voted for the sixth time to fund the federal government and as soon as once more each proposals failed.

    The Democrat-backed proposal – which funds healthcare for unlawful aliens – failed in a 47-52 vote.

    The Republican proposal additionally didn’t get the 60 votes wanted. The Dems blocked the GOP invoice in a 54-45 vote.

    GOP Senator Rand Paul voted with the Democrats to dam the GOP-backed proposal.
