    Saudi Aramco helicopter crash kills 14 nationals: Report

    A helicopter belonging to Saudi oil big Aramco crashed on Sunday (Jun 28) in Ras Tanura on Saudi Arabia’s jap coast on the Gulf, west of the Strait of Hormuz, killing 14 nationals, the state information company reported, including that the trigger was unknown.

    Aramco had resumed crude oil loadings on Friday at its Ras Tanura terminal within the Gulf after they have been halted for almost 4 months.

    “The related authorities have launched a full investigation to find out the reason for the crash,” the state information company added.

    Aramco didn’t reply instantly to an emailed request for remark.

    The incident happened at 6am (11am, Singapore time), the state company stated, with out offering additional particulars.

    Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest oil exporter, has joined ‌a rush to maneuver cargoes after Center East producers ramped up oil and fuel output and exports forward of an interim deal to halt the struggle between the US and Iran.
