    Re: “Light rail delays persist as service expands south to Federal Way” (Dec. 5, A1):

    After years of cheerleading our belated mild rail community, I have to admit I’m personally embarrassed to have achieved so. I naively presumed Seattle had the know-how to — at the least — match Bay Space Fast Transit if not European programs.

    Is it too late to ask Switzerland or Sweden to return assist straighten our mess out? We clearly need assistance, and it certain ain’t getting higher.
