    Lebanon president says he will do the ‘impossible’ to stop war with Israel

    BEIRUT: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun mentioned on Monday (Could 18) that he would do the “unimaginable” with a view to cease the struggle with Israel, after a ceasefire and direct talks between the international locations failed to finish the combating.

    Aoun’s feedback got here because the Israeli military carried out a sequence of strikes in south Lebanon, whereas Hezbollah mentioned it had struck a navy goal in northern Israel.

    The assault was a response to Israeli “violations” of the ceasefire, it added.

    Lebanon’s state-run Nationwide Information Company reported a sequence of Israeli strikes throughout the south.
