Egypt has proposed a brand new plan to finish Israel’s conflict on Gaza.

Egypt has proposed a plan to resume the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

It contains the gradual launch of Israeli captives and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the besieged Gaza Strip.

The plan comes as Cairo faces mounting stress, with US President Donald Trump calling on Egypt to soak up displaced Palestinians from Gaza.

For its half, Israel has remained defiant.

It has intensified its assaults on Gaza, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning they had been “solely the start”.

So, will Egypt’s proposal sway Netanyahu and his authorities?

And would any renewed ceasefire cope with Hamas stand an opportunity of surviving?
