Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth on Saturday night introduced that Lively Responsibility Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton shall be mobilized to quell the anti-ICE riots in downtown Los Angeles.
Camp Pendleton is situated about 80 miles south of Los Angeles in North San Diego County.

Hegseth made the announcement shortly after President Trump signed a presidential memorandum deploying 2,000 Nationwide Guardsmen to “handle the lawlessness.”
“The violent mob assaults on ICE and Federal Regulation Enforcement are designed to forestall the elimination of Prison Unlawful Aliens from our soil; a harmful invasion facilitated by prison cartels (aka International Terrorist Organizations) and an enormous NATIONAL SECURITY RISK,” Hegseth stated.
