    WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump stated on Thursday (Mar 20) the US will sign a minerals and natural resources deal with Ukraine shortly and that his efforts to realize a peace deal for the nation have been going “fairly properly” after his talks this week with the Russian and Ukrainian leaders.

    Trump made the feedback at a White Home occasion after signing an order to extend US manufacturing of important minerals.

    “We’re additionally signing agreements in numerous areas to unlock uncommon earths and minerals and many different issues everywhere in the world,” he stated.

    “However specifically Ukraine, we’re doing very properly with regard to Ukraine and Russia. And one of many issues we’re doing is signing a deal very shortly with respect to uncommon earths with Ukraine.”

    Trump referred to his discussions this week with each Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy aimed toward ending the conflict in Ukraine, which Russia invaded in 2022.
