    SEOUL: Round 600 North Korean troopers combating for Russia towards Ukraine have been killed and hundreds extra wounded, a Seoul lawmaker mentioned on Wednesday (Apr 30), after Pyongyang formally confirmed deploying troops to help Moscow.

    “To this point, North Korean troop casualties are estimated at round 4,700, together with roughly 600 deaths,” MP Lee Seong-kweun, a member of parliament’s intelligence committee, instructed reporters after a briefing by the nation’s spy company.

    North Korea confirmed for the primary time Monday that it had deployed troops to Russia, with state information company KCNA reporting Pyongyang’s troopers helped Moscow reclaim territory underneath Ukrainian management within the Russian border area of Kursk.
