    Rwandan-backed M23 rebels are advancing within the east, spreading out throughout north and south Kivu and are transferring in the direction of the town of Uvira.

    Many regional gamers are concerned within the battle, together with Uganda, Burundi and South Africa, growing considerations the battle may spread beyond the DRC.
