    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump stated in a Fox Information interview broadcast on Sunday (Jun 29) that he had discovered a purchaser for the TikTok short-video app, which he described as a gaggle of “very rich folks” whose identities he’ll reveal in about two weeks.

    Trump made the remarks in an interview on Fox Information’ Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo program.

    He stated the deal he’s growing would most likely want China’s approval to maneuver ahead and he predicted Chinese language President Xi Jinping would probably approve it.

    The US president earlier this month had prolonged to Sep 17 a deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the US property of TikTok regardless of a legislation that mandated a sale or shutdown with out vital progress.
