    Trump tariffs on timber, furniture take effect

    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump’s fresh tariffs on imported wood, furniture and kitchen cabinets took impact on Tuesday (Oct 14), a improvement prone to gas constructing prices and pile strain on homebuyers in an already difficult market.
