    Thanks for publishing Bret Stephens’ column (“Now the left cares about free speech again,” Sept. 26) in regards to the left’s sudden concern about free speech, by which he lists quite a few examples from current years demonstrating their very apparent lack of curiosity on this important freedom.

    I wrote a letter about this only a couple days in the past and figured it could not be printed as a result of it dared to reference the abrogation of free speech throughout the covid years. However, Stephens rightfully talked about this too and you continue to printed it. Thanks, and there may be nonetheless hope for our nation.
