    VIENNA: Large snowstorms prompted energy outages and transport chaos in Austria on Friday (Feb 20), forcing the Vienna airport to quickly halt all flights.

    Flights departing from the capital, a significant European hub, have been cancelled or delayed, and greater than 230 arrivals have been equally disrupted or rerouted.

    “Passengers whose flights have been delayed are requested to not come to the airport,” the power stated in a press release.
