Police stated the person was spearfishing when he was attacked by the lethal fish and was taken again to shore the place paramedics tried to deal with him.

“Sadly, he was unable to be revived,” they stated.

The state’s Division of Main Industries and Regional Growth urged individuals to take “extra warning” within the space and to remain abreast of shark sightings within the space.

The assault comes simply two weeks after a person was killed by a shark in northern Queensland state.

And the killing is the second this yr in Western Australia – final month a person died after being attacked by a fantastic white off Rottnest Island close to the town of Perth.

Australian scientists consider more and more crowded waters and rising ocean temperatures are shifting sharks’ migratory patterns, which can be contributing to an increase in assaults.
