    Russia rains drones and missiles on Ukraine, Poland scrambles aircraft

    LVIV: NATO member Poland stated it scrambled plane early on Sunday (Oct 5) to make sure its air security after Russia launched airstrikes on Ukraine, with Ukrainian officers reporting missiles and drones raining down on the Lviv area close to the Polish border.
