VIENNA: Austrian police have discovered rat poison in a child meals jar, they mentioned late Saturday (Apr 18), in a probe that has seen the provider recall the road over suspected tampering.
The Germany-based HiPP model introduced the recall at SPAR supermarkets in Austria late Friday over the likelihood that “a hazardous substance” was launched into its “carrot with potato” puree via tampering.
As a part of ongoing investigations in Germany, police have seized jars in Austria, in addition to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, police in Austria’s jap Burgenland province mentioned in a press release.

Austria’s company for meals safety mentioned on Saturday that rat poison could have been launched as a part of an extortion scheme.
