    Protesters force their way into COP30 venue, clash with security

    Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has highlighted Indigenous communities as key gamers on this 12 months’s COP30 negotiations.

    Earlier this week, dozens of Indigenous leaders arrived by boat to take part within the talks and demand extra say in how forests are managed.

Raoni Metuktire, also called Chief Raoni, urged Brazil to empower native peoples to protect the Amazon.
