Paramilitary Group in Sudan Agrees to Stop-Hearth Proposal

The paramilitary group Speedy Assist Forces agreed to a cease-fire proposal after rising condemnation of atrocities in Darfur. Sudan’s army reiterated its dedication to defeat the R.S.F. by means of power, displaying no signal of agreeing to the proposal.

“Because the R.S.F. made a significant incursion into town on the twenty third of October, we’ve acquired horrendous quantities of abstract executions, mass killings, rapes, assaults towards returning staff, looting, abductions and compelled displacement.”
