Eire’s former President Mary Robinson says Israel is ‘erasing Palestine bodily, economically, culturally and politically’.
After visiting the West Financial institution, the group of public figures referred to as “The Elders” has concluded that Israel “goals to make Palestine disappear bodily, economically, culturally and politically”.
Mary Robinson, former president of the Republic of Eire and one of many main members of The Elders, tells host Steve Clemons that the delegation was “shocked” at how the scenario has deteriorated since 2023.
“It begins with hate speech, clear discuss Jewish supremacy and annexation of the West Financial institution,” says Robinson, including that the Israeli authorities affords “full impunity” for settlers and troopers grabbing land and disrupting the lives of Palestinians throughout the territory.
