    TEHRAN: Iran’s military warned on Tuesday (Might 19) it might “open new fronts” towards the USA if it resumes assaults, after President Donald Trump stated he had held off launching a brand new offensive in hopes of putting a deal.

    The warning got here amid a shaky ceasefire in place since Apr 8, with Washington and Tehran exchanging proposals in an effort to finish the Center East warfare, which started on Feb 28.

    In a submit on his Reality Social platform, Trump stated Gulf leaders had requested him “to hold off on our planned military attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was scheduled for tomorrow, in that severe negotiations at the moment are happening”.

    Qatar, which suffered Tehran’s retaliatory strikes following US-Israeli assaults throughout the warfare, emphasised that extra time was wanted for the continued Pakistani-mediated efforts to push for Iran-US talks.
