Re: “Northbound I-405 closed for repaving in Kirkland, and other traffic news” (June 27, Site visitors Lab):
The “boon for regional truckers to skip the Southcenter space” of Insterstate 5 doesn’t appear to contemplate the impression to the north part of Freeway 509. Site visitors round and throughout the First Avenue Bridge already has important congestion, particularly throughout rush hours.
Including extra vans and automobiles to 509 will most definitely create a brand new set of issues.
