    Gas Works Park: A call for artists to design safety wall

    Re: “How many lives is Gas Works Park structure worth?” (Nov. 10, Opinion):

    I agree the variety of deaths on account of falling from the construction is a tragedy. However I don’t agree that stripping off all the steps and ladders is the one resolution. The weak spot is the ugly, dilapidated chain-link fence enclosure.

    Why not change it with a giant, stunning, impenetrable wall? Go away the historic construction alone. Let’s have a name for artists. An artwork wall might make it secure and wonderful.
