Ian Watkins, the previous British rock singer from the band Lostprophets, has died after an assault by one other inmate in HMP Wakefield jail.
He was serving a 29-year sentence for baby intercourse offences – and we aren’t speaking merely having baby porn in his units – which might be dangerous sufficient.

Detectives from the murder and main enquiry group are investigating and inquiries stay ongoing on the scene’.”

“The singer was sentenced in December 2013 after admitting 13 intercourse offences, together with the tried rape of a fan’s child.
He was additionally accused of encouraging a fan to abuse her baby throughout a webcam chat.”

The Sun reported:
“His attacker, who justice sources stated had been recognized, is known to have slashed his jugular, inflicting Watkins to die from blood loss.
And a supply stated: “Watkins has been killed in essentially the most brutal manner attainable – and the assault was stunning, even by jail requirements. He was focused by one other inmate who shanked him within the neck’.
