    A helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York Metropolis on Thursday killing on six folks on board.

    New York Metropolis Mayor Eric Adams revealed the victims included the pilot and a household of 5 visiting from Spain.

    “Three adults and three youngsters had been on board a Bell 206 helicopter that left from the downtown sky port nearly 3 pm,” Eric Adams stated.

    An eyewitness stated he noticed the helicopter cut up in two.

    CNN reported:

    Six folks – together with three youngsters – are useless after a passenger helicopter crashed into the Hudson River, stated New York Metropolis Mayor Eric Adams.

    The passengers included a pilot and a household visiting from Spain, he stated.

    At 3:17 p.m., a number of 911 calls reported a helicopter crash within the Hudson River close to the New Jersey shoreline at Pier A Park in Hoboken, New York Police Division Commissioner Jessica Tisch stated. When first responders arrived, police pulled 4 folks out of the water and FDNY pulled out two folks, she stated.

    4 victims had been declared useless on scene whereas a further two folks had been taken to native hospitals, the place they had been declared useless, Tisch stated.

    “Our hearts exit to the household of those that had been on board,” Adams stated.

    The helicopter, operated by the tour firm New York Helicopter Constitution, is at present submerged within the river.
