    BERLIN: Winter climate compelled many flight cancellations and delays on Friday (Feb 6) at Berlin’s worldwide airport, which struggled to clear runways and de-ice planes to restart regular air journey.

    “We resumed flight operations shortly after midday. The primary plane are at the moment being de-iced,” a Berlin Brandenburg Airport spokeswoman informed AFP.

    Passengers ought to however count on “vital delays and flight cancellations” after “freezing rain fell once more in a single day”, she added.
