How spectacular is Ichiro’s swish dedication to the younger Mariners! He bodily reveals up for them day by day and encourages them, exhorting them to grab each alternative. Ichiro is a mannequin for all retirees and elders. He’s performing and mentoring in sensible methods.

I don’t agree with older folks persevering with to cling to positions of management in politics or in sports activities. The getting old physique serves as a curb on athletic ambitions. Nevertheless, our political decisions are dominated by elders of their late 70s to 90s. With all of the extremely succesful younger folks ready within the wings, why are people, boomers and older, making selections on points they don’t perceive properly, if in any respect?

The challenges of the twenty first century are formidable. I’m 78, and I’m properly conscious of how a lot I depend on the knowledge and experience of youthful of us. Respectfully, elders ought to get into the again seat and let the Gen Xers and youthful generations pilot the ship of state. It’s their world and they should follow.
