    Hanukkah attack: A path forward

Re: “Father and son gunmen kill at least 15 people in attack on Hanukkah event at Sydney’s Bondi Beach” (Dec. 14, Nation & World):

Completely happy Hanukkah. Sadly, that’s not so in Australia. This assault in Sydney is the rationale that almost all Jews around the globe imagine there must be a Jewish state.

As a proud Zionist, and like most of my Zionist mates, I do imagine there must be a two-state answer. Hopefully, this new part will transfer in that path. But it surely must be formally acknowledged and supported by each side. Constructing belief is an enormous a part of the method. This implies Hamas must be completely disarmed and the Jewish settlers within the West Financial institution have to be accountable for his or her unlawful conduct.
