    Re: “SPD interim Chief Barnes’ defiant words put city at risk” (June 12, Opinion):

    I heard interim Chief Shon Barnes’ feedback otherwise than Sakara Remmu. I heard Chief Barnes say that he would shield the residents of Seattle, that he would shield our proper to freedom of speech.

    I felt reassured that the Seattle Police Division is on our facet, the facet of residents of Seattle. We want the SPD on our facet in these turbulent occasions. We do have the facility to withstand army occupation. It’s the voice of the individuals supporting democracy.
