    BEIJING: China’s overseas minister has hit out on the “excessive selfishness” of tariffs, hinting on the steep levies imposed on Beijing by US President Donald Trump.

    “Sure nations” resort to “strain and coercion, and set off unjustified commerce wars … This excessive selfishness solely harms their credibility”, high diplomat Wang Yi informed his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov, in response to a ministry assertion launched on Saturday (Apr 26).
