The Kosovo warfare crimes tribunal has convicted former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci of 4 counts of warfare crimes dedicated throughout his nation’s warfare for independence from Serbia.
Thaci, 58, was sentenced on Wednesday to 25 years in jail for crimes together with homicide, torture and unlawful detention dedicated as high commander of the ethnic Albanian Kosovo Liberation Military (KLA) through the territory’s violent break from Serbia within the Nineties.
The tribunal stated he was responsible of the homicide of 96 political opponents and perceived collaborators with Serbian safety forces by KLA forces through the battle.
Thaci denies all the costs.
