    The decision handed with 145 votes in favour, 5 towards and 6 abstentions. It additionally permits Abbas and different senior Palestinian officers to take part in UN conferences by video over the following yr if they’re barred from coming into the US.

    Washington final month stated Abbas and about 80 different Palestinians can be affected by its resolution to disclaim or revoke visas for members of the Palestine Liberation Group (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority.
