Re: “WA workers on NASA Artemis moon mission feel pressure, and pride” (Aug. 15, Boeing & Aerospace):
I learn with nice curiosity, and a big dose of nostalgia, the article concerning the Artemis program. It introduced again recollections of my time as a pc programmer working in Houston on the Gemini and Apollo applications: late nights doing simulation after simulation, my son enjoying with a neighbor boy whose astronaut father had constructed him a plywood Lunar Tour Module of their yard.
However above all, the information that we had been engaged on one thing larger than us and having a way of non-public duty for the success and security of every mission. I sincerely hope our nation can come collectively to assist Artemis with the identical patriotic enthusiasm I skilled then.
