    Israel strikes Syria bases again despite EU warning

    In Syria, Israel has launched a whole lot of strikes on army websites since Islamist-led rebels overthrew Bashar al-Assad in December.

    Israel says it needs to stop weapons from falling into the arms of recent authorities it considers jihadists.

    And regardless of a ceasefire, Israel has continued to hold out strikes on Lebanon – with each side repeatedly accusing the opposite of violating the truce.

    Israel launched air strikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing eight individuals, in response to rocket fireplace that hit its territory for the primary time since a ceasefire took impact on Nov 27.
