    Geneva offers $11mn for NGOs hit by US aid freeze

    The town is house to round 40 worldwide organisations in addition to 476 NGOs, in line with the Keystone-ATS information company.

    Geneva canton’s financial affairs minister Delphine Bachmann had warned earlier than Friday’s vote that many can be pressured to hold out mass layoffs or be unable to pay workers.
