Passenger ferries weren’t talked about within the editorial. If we actually need to cut back carbon emissions, and improve reliability, rising passenger ferries is the best way to do it.
Washington State Ferries must shift from transporting vehicles and vehicles to transporting individuals, and this must be coupled with improved public transportation connections at ferry terminals. That is inexpensive for taxpayers and is the appropriate route for our state. We have to shift transportation planning to a larger give attention to options to site visitors and lengthy ferry strains.
