    The European Fee has launched an investigation into Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, relating to the creation of sexually specific faux photographs of girls and minors.

    The fee introduced on Monday that its investigation would look at whether or not the AI device used on X has met its authorized obligations below the European Union’s Digital Companies Act (DSA), which requires social media firms to handle unlawful and dangerous on-line content material.

    EU tech commissioner Henna Virkkunen stated the rights of girls and youngsters within the EU shouldn’t be “collateral injury” of X’s providers.

    X has been below investigation by the EU over its digital content material guidelines since December 2023.

    This month, Grok stated it will prohibit picture technology and modifying to paying prospects after criticism of the device’s capabilities.

    A nonprofit organisation, the Centre for Countering Digital Hate, revealed a report final week that discovered Grok had generated an estimated 3 million sexualised photographs of girls and youngsters in a matter of days.
