    Nikoosh Carlo makes many legitimate factors about local weather change mitigation (“It’s time to do a 180 in our thinking about the climate crisis,” Dec. 24, Opinion).

    However, like most opinion items about this challenge, the author doesn’t focus on overpopulation and overconsumption nor advocate engendering one or fewer kids per grownup over the following 100 years.

    As oceans rise and deserts develop bigger, to the place will the displaced individuals migrate? There isn’t a point out of this conundrum within the op-ed.
