    Can a national dialogue solve South Africa’s problems? | Government

    The method goals to form the nation’s subsequent chapter of democracy, three a long time after apartheid.

    South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa desires individuals to come back collectively and speak.

    He has launched a nationwide dialogue course of – billed as citizen-led – for South Africans from all walks of life to determine the right way to cope with challenges from crime and corruption to poverty and inequality.

    However critics say his social gathering, the African Nationwide Congress (ANC), has had 30 years in energy to just do that.

    So, can a convention assist to resolve longstanding issues within the nation?

    Will the talks handle the divisions within the ANC?

    And what’s the subsequent chapter for South African politics?
