On “The Opinions,” the columnist Jamelle Bouie says he thinks Pam Bondi’s combative testimony made her seem like a “raving lunatic” — a response that Democrats had been in a position to evoke for political achieve.

No administration needs their legal professional normal wanting like a raving lunatic for the cameras. “And none of them, none of them requested Merrick Garland during the last 4 years one phrase about Jeffrey Epstein. They assume: Pam Bondi, a lunatic. And I believe that the truth that Democrats are in a position to evoke that response from Bondi is a political win for Democrats. Like, simply even when Trump is sitting again in his chamber, I don’t know. I’m imagining him like a Jabba the Hutt within the palace. – tv. – Oh, harsh. Even when that’s the state of affairs and Trump is having fun with it, it’s political malpractice to permit one thing like this to occur.
