    French government calls for Christmas truce in farmer protests

    PARIS: ‌The French authorities on Friday (Dec 19) known as for a Christmas truce with protesting farmers, warning in opposition to additional blockades through the vacation season, a transfer the nation’s foremost union stated relied on the prime minister’s response to their calls for.
