    REACTIONS AFTER THE BRIEFING

    Democrats left the Senate briefing saying it had been too brief and that the officers from Republican President Donald Trump’s administration had not appeared ready to totally reply questions.

    “The administration got here to this briefing empty-handed,” Senate Democratic chief Chuck Schumer mentioned. “We do not know what the last word purpose is. The president says various things at totally different instances and contradicts himself,” he added.

    Republicans usually praised Trump’s motion, which the administration says is meant to combat trafficking in medication liable for the deaths of People.

    Republican Senator Lindsey Graham referred to as for a change in Venezuela’s management, saying it will replicate badly on the US to have performed such a protracted and enormous marketing campaign if Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stays in energy.

    “If Maduro is what they are saying he’s, and I imagine them, he must go. It needs to be the coverage of the USA that when that is over, he is now not standing,” Graham advised reporters.
