My cousin labored for the State Division for many years, each as a contract worker and as a employees worker. As acknowledged within the column by Michael Hiltzik, the web passport renewal system is a large success, and my cousin labored on its implementation for years. Sadly, she was RIFed (discount in pressure) a couple of week after the celebration of this wonderful achievement.
I simply need folks to know that civil servants who’ve devoted their lives to service on behalf of us, the American folks, are being fired whatever the good they’re doing. Michael Lewis’ ebook “Who Is Authorities?: The Untold Story of Public Service” explores this greater than I ever might. Good luck to all of us.
