    US President Donald Trump signed an government order modifying the reciprocal tariff charges for some nations, the White Home stated on Thursday (Jul 31).

    The reciprocal tariffs vary from 10 per cent to 41 per cent and will likely be carried out on Aug 7.

    Malaysia now faces a 19 per cent tariff charge on its items exported to the US, down from 25 per cent.

    Levies on Singapore items exported to the US stay at 10 per cent.

    The tariff charge for Myanmar and Laos stands at 40 per cent. Each nations didn’t strike offers with the US.
