The servility of Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and different Republican senators goes past the “my state first” excuse for supporting President Donald Trump’s Huge Lovely “Bull.” Trump has declared and demonstrated he’ll ignore the mandates of laws, break the regulation and violate the Structure by refusing to spend cash appropriated by Congress and even claw again by rescission funds already contracted if he personally dislikes their objective.
Guarantees to Murkowski for Medicaid, like all Trump guarantees, are meaningless. If you happen to promote your soul to the satan, not less than it is best to count on one thing in return.
