New York Metropolis Mayor Eric Adams revealed the victims included the pilot and a household of 5 visiting from Spain.
“Three adults and three youngsters had been on board a Bell 206 helicopter that left from the downtown sky port nearly 3 pm,” Eric Adams stated.

An eyewitness stated he noticed the helicopter cut up in two.

The passengers included a pilot and a household visiting from Spain, he stated.
At 3:17 p.m., a number of 911 calls reported a helicopter crash within the Hudson River close to the New Jersey shoreline at Pier A Park in Hoboken, New York Police Division Commissioner Jessica Tisch stated.
