“For many years, our nation has been looted, pillaged, raped and plundered by nations close to and much, each good friend and foe alike.”

The US president reserved among the heaviest blows for what he known as the “nations that deal with us badly”.

“We subsidise plenty of nations and preserve them going and preserve them in enterprise,” Trump mentioned about commerce companions, particularly Mexico and Canada. “Why are we doing this? I imply, at what level do we are saying you started working for yourselves.”

“We’re lastly placing American first,” he added.

The tariffs, Trump mentioned, are “not full reciprocal, it’s type reciprocal”.
